The dark blue line is Boat speed and the Yellow line is another brand.
As the boat speed increases the steering becomes harder to turn but the Green line shows that the Ultraflex Planetary Gear Kit is still easy to steer.
Get convienient kit suitable as replacement steering, that includes: Helm, Bezel and cable.
The cable can be 12ft to 20ft. Steering wheels are available in the kit if needed.
TO WORK OUT THE BEST FITTING CABLE LENGTH TAKE AN OLD GARDEN HOSE AND RUN IT FROM THE BACK OF WHERE THE WHEEL IS, MAKING GENTLE CURVES TAKE IT ALONG THE SIDE OF THE BOAT AND TO THE TILT TUBE AT THE MOTOR. MEASURE IN CM AND ADD 56CM TO MAKE A TOTAL THEN CONVERT TO FEET AND ROUND TO THE NEXT WHOLE FOOT.
EXAMPLE GARDEN HOSE = 305cm + 56cm TOTAL LENGTH 361cm = 11'.8" ROUND UP TO 12ft.
