Successful Fishing using colour sonar fishfinders

Any sonar fish finder rely greatly on the transducer. The wider the coverage the better the results.
Why colour? The answer is simple. better sunlight view ability and greater contrast.
The actual depth capability of any sonar depends on the transducer configuration, installation, bottom and the water conditions.
All sonar units usually read deeper in fresh water.
